Burnley West Higher Trapp Hotel

Location great - food was lovely - it does boast on reading a great selection of cask ales there was only one and it was a pale ale would not put that as a cask like the likes of wainwrights or Timothy Taylor room was nice and spacious but overlooked the car park but can’t always get the best rooms I suppose staff friendly on arrival

The gardens are gorgeous. Fantastic view of them from my room. My room was clean and comfortable, just abit more attention to the shower and had everything I needed. Tv brew station etc and the shower was good. Good temp and power was perfect. Food was fantastic. My second time here for a wedding and I would stay over again.

We attended a wedding here before, but never stayed. Our room was directly opposite the door from the stairs, other than some rowdy people around 11.30pm it was very quiet. We had a four poster bed in the rom which was very creaky, every time we turned over but the room was large, had everything we needed and a fab Coffee Machine.

The two female receptionists were very friendly and entertaining. The check in was quick and efficient, the check out was great fun and amusing. The room was good, clean and warm as it was a chilly day. Bar meals were good and nourishing. Make sure you keep these receptionists!!!

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, compact and very comfortable. The building is fabulous and obviously very old but has bags of charm! We loved it and it may be slightly tired in places but that didn't matter to us! Food was lovely and very well priced we would definitely recommend and will be back!
